Santo Domingo.- El diputado Gustavo Sánchez, vocero del PLD en la Cámara Baja, acusó a la Ministra de Interior y Policía, Faride Raful, de conculcar derechos garantizados por la Constitución con acciones realizadas durante la Semana Santa.
Según Sánchez, los agentes policiales actuaron bajo instrucciones administrativas sin la existencia de un Estado de Excepción, violando el debido proceso. Rechazó que se confiscaran ajuares y equipos sin orden judicial.
El congresista recordó que Faride fue defensora de derechos en el Congreso, y lamentó que ahora promueva actuaciones que van contra esos principios.

Santo Domingo.- Deputy Gustavo Sánchez, spokesman for the PLD in the Lower House, accused the Minister of the Interior and Police, Faride Raful, of infringing constitutional rights through actions taken during Holy Week.
Sánchez stated that police agents acted under administrative instructions without the presence of a State of Emergency, violating due process. He criticized the confiscation of property without judicial authorization.
He recalled that Faride once defended constitutional rights in Congress, expressing disappointment that she now supports actions that contradict those values.
