SANTO DOMINGO.– La oficina de Major League Baseball (MLB) en República Dominicana anunció la tercera temporada de la Amateur Scouting League (ASL), destacando que la segunda parada de la Región Norte será dedicada al exjugador de Grandes Ligas, Stanley Javier.
Este evento deportivo se celebrará el sábado 10 de mayo en el Estadio Cibao de Santiago, comenzando a las 2:30 de la tarde con el primer partido. La ceremonia inaugural será a las 4:50 p.m., seguida de otro encuentro a las 6:00 de la tarde. La entrada será completamente gratuita para todos los asistentes.
La ASL tiene como objetivo brindar una plataforma de alto nivel competitivo para prospectos entre 15 y 19 años, quienes serán evaluados por cazatalentos en un ambiente neutral y profesional. Todos los juegos serán transmitidos por MLB.com, y las estadísticas estarán disponibles en la plataforma oficial de la Amateur Scouting League.
Stanley Javier, reconocido por su trayectoria tanto en MLB como en la gestión deportiva dominicana, será homenajeado en esta parada especial en Santiago, ciudad donde jugó en múltiples ocasiones. La Región Norte ha sido cuna de grandes talentos del béisbol, y esta actividad refuerza la colaboración entre entrenadores y la MLB.

SANTO DOMINGO – The Major League Baseball (MLB) office in the Dominican Republic announced the third season of the Amateur Scouting League (ASL), revealing that the second stop in the Northern Region will be dedicated to former MLB player Stanley Javier.
The sporting event will take place on Saturday, May 10, at Estadio Cibao in Santiago, with the first game starting at 2:30 p.m. The official opening ceremony is scheduled for 4:50 p.m., followed by another match at 6:00 p.m. Admission will be completely free for all attendees.
