Dajab\u00f3n, D.R.\u2013 Mayor Santiago River\u00f3n reported a fire at one of the facilities of the new La Patilla landfill, which was completely destroyed, causing losses of over ten million pesos.
River\u00f3n noted that high temperatures may have caused the fire, while the Fire Department is conducting a technical assessment to determine the exact origin.
A commission from the landfill’s trust will visit Dajab\u00f3n to conduct its own evaluation and implement corrective measures.

During a raid in a villa in Cupey, nine victims were rescued, including three minors. Sexual services were offered for amounts between $120 and $1,600.<\/span>
