La magia de gobernar bien no radica solo en ejecutar, sino tambi\u00e9n en comunicar. Por eso, cuando instituciones como Edenorte e INAPA optan por el silencio, no solo se apagan las luces y se seca el agua, tambi\u00e9n se oscurece la imagen de un gobierno que necesita cercan\u00eda, empat\u00eda y transparencia para sostener la confianza de su pueblo.<\/p>\n
No hay excusa v\u00e1lida que justifique la indiferencia comunicacional de Edenorte ante los apagones constantes, la quema de electrodom\u00e9sticos y el impacto directo en hogares y sectores productivos. El pueblo siente que ha regresado a \u00e9pocas ya superadas. Y lo m\u00e1s grave no es el fallo t\u00e9cnico, sino el mutismo institucional. No se emiten notas, no se informa sobre causas ni plazos. Y en comunicaci\u00f3n de crisis, el silencio es el peor enemigo. Lo digo con el coraz\u00f3n: si estos ejecutivos no entienden el valor de hablarle al pueblo, entonces no son aliados del gobierno, son un problema.<\/p>\n
En el caso de INAPA, hay esfuerzos m\u00ednimos por mantener informadas a las comunidades en Mao y Sabaneta, pero en el resto del noroeste, impera una actitud que raya en el sabotaje. No se explica el desabastecimiento, ni la mala calidad del agua, ni la sobreexplotaci\u00f3n para fines agr\u00edcolas por parte de sectores vinculados al poder. Es como si la instituci\u00f3n se negara a defender su propia credibilidad y, por ende, la del gobierno.<\/p>\n
Como servidor p\u00fablico, como comunicador y como ciudadano que desea que esta gesti\u00f3n termine bien, insisto: o capacitamos con urgencia a estos funcionarios en relaciones p\u00fablicas y vocer\u00eda institucional, o hay que removerlos. Porque lo que est\u00e1n haciendo, o dejando de hacer, es matar lentamente la imagen del gobierno que los puso ah\u00ed. Y eso, por dignidad, por amor al pa\u00eds y por respeto a la gente, hay que decirlo.

That\u2019s why when institutions like Edenorte and INAPA choose silence, it\u2019s not just the power or water that\u2019s cut off\u2014it’s also the connection between the people and the government they trusted.<\/p>\n
Edenorte\u2019s ongoing blackouts, damaged appliances, and production losses are troubling. But what\u2019s even worse is the institutional silence. No explanations, no timelines, no empathy. We are reliving dark chapters of our history, and the officials responsible for public relations seem absent. In times of crisis, silence is never neutral\u2014it becomes a threat. Let\u2019s be clear: if these executives refuse to speak to the people, they are not defending the government\u2019s reputation\u2014they are undermining it.<\/p>\n
INAPA does a little better in Mao and Sabaneta, but in the rest of the northwest, it acts as if the public doesn\u2019t deserve to know what\u2019s happening. No word on service cuts, poor water quality, or massive agricultural water use by politically connected businesses. The institution\u2019s silence feels like complicity.<\/p>\n
As a public servant, communicator, and citizen who wants this government to finish strong, I say this sincerely: we must urgently train these officials in public communication, or we must replace them. Their silence is not passive\u2014it is actively damaging the image of this administration. And that, for the good of all, must be said out loud.
