San Fernando de Montecristi, R.D. \u2013 La periodista Lucrecia Cabreja hizo un llamado urgente al Gobierno dominicano para que priorice la construcci\u00f3n de nuevas viviendas y la reparaci\u00f3n de muchas otras que se encuentran en estado cr\u00edtico en diversas comunidades de la provincia de Montecristi. A su juicio, esta es una de las principales necesidades que arrastran las familias m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n

Cabreja explic\u00f3 que, durante las recientes lluvias que impactaron con fuerza a toda la provincia, se vivieron momentos de angustia por el temor de que muchas familias perdieran el techo. Denunci\u00f3 que, a pesar de los m\u00faltiples anuncios oficiales sobre proyectos habitacionales, en comunidades como Hatillo Palma, Casta\u00f1uelas, Guayub\u00edn, Palo Verde y El Vigiador, persisten techos deteriorados, pisos de tierra y estructuras sin condiciones m\u00ednimas de dignidad. \u201cEs lamentable que haya tantos programas sociales y que a\u00fan la gente duerma bajo techos de zinc podridos o en pisos llenos de humedad\u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/p>\n

La comunicadora exhort\u00f3 al presidente Luis Abinader y al Ministerio de la Vivienda a realizar un levantamiento serio y profundo en toda la regi\u00f3n noroeste, con el fin de ofrecer respuestas urgentes sin que medien bander\u00edas pol\u00edticas ni protagonismos medi\u00e1ticos. \u201cAqu\u00ed no se trata de promesas ni de cortar cintas, sino de transformar vidas desde el coraz\u00f3n mismo del hogar\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n

San Fernando de Montecristi, D.R. \u2013 Journalist Lucrecia Cabreja issued an urgent call to the Dominican government to prioritize the construction of new homes and the repair of many others in critical condition in several communities in Montecristi province. In her view, this is one of the greatest needs of the most vulnerable families.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cabreja explained that during the recent heavy rains that severely impacted the province, many residents feared losing their roofs. She denounced that despite multiple official announcements of housing projects, places like Hatillo Palma, Casta\u00f1uelas, Guayub\u00edn, Palo Verde, and El Vigiador continue to suffer from deteriorated roofs, dirt floors, and uninhabitable structures. \u201cIt\u2019s unacceptable that with so many social programs, people are still sleeping under rotten zinc roofs and on damp floors,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The communicator urged President Luis Abinader and the Ministry of Housing to conduct a serious and thorough survey throughout the northwest region and respond immediately, regardless of political affiliation or media showmanship. \u201cThis isn\u2019t about promises or ribbon-cuttings, it\u2019s about transforming lives at the heart of the home,\u201d she emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n
