\"\"En Santo Domingo, R.D.\u2013 Los senadores Odal\u00eds Rodr\u00edguez y Antonio Marte estuvieron activos en la sesi\u00f3n senatorial donde se aprob\u00f3, tras m\u00e1s de cinco horas de intensos debates, la Ley Org\u00e1nica que instituye el nuevo C\u00f3digo Penal de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n

La pieza legislativa fue sancionada en segunda lectura con modificaciones y aprobada de manera un\u00e1nime por los senadores presentes, quienes se pusieron de pie para respaldar esta normativa que llevaba a\u00f1os en discusi\u00f3n en el Congreso Nacional.<\/p>\n

Tanto Rodr\u00edguez, representante de la provincia de Valverde, como Marte, senador por Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, destacaron la importancia de modernizar el marco penal dominicano y coincidieron en que el pa\u00eds necesitaba una legislaci\u00f3n adaptada a los nuevos tiempos.<\/p>\n

La aprobaci\u00f3n del nuevo C\u00f3digo Penal representa un paso trascendental para el sistema judicial y penal del pa\u00eds, y ahora pasa a la C\u00e1mara de Diputados para su evaluaci\u00f3n definitiva.<\/p>\n

\"\"Santo Domingo, D.R.\u2013 Senators Odal\u00eds Rodr\u00edguez and Antonio Marte played active roles in the Senate session where, after over five hours of intense debate, the Organic Law establishing the new Penal Code of the Dominican Republic was unanimously approved.<\/p>\n

The legislative piece was passed in second reading with modifications, receiving unanimous standing approval from all present senators, marking a milestone in the years-long discussion at the National Congress.<\/p>\n

Rodr\u00edguez, representing Valverde province, and Marte, senator for Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, emphasized the urgency of modernizing the nation\u2019s penal framework and agreed on the need for legislation that responds to today\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n

The approval of this new Penal Code is a crucial step for the Dominican Republic\u2019s legal system and now moves on to the Chamber of Deputies for final consideration.<\/p>\n
