\"\"Puerto Plata.\u2013 En atenci\u00f3n a una solicitud de la comunidad educativa, el alcalde del municipio San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Diomedes Roque Garc\u00eda (Roquelito), orden\u00f3 la instalaci\u00f3n de vallas tipo pasarela en la acera ubicada frente a la escuela Luisa Ortea (Hija de la Caridad), sobre la transitada avenida Luis Ginebra.<\/p>\n

La intervenci\u00f3n fue ejecutada por el Departamento de Tr\u00e1nsito del Ayuntamiento, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de An\u00edbal Polanco, con el objetivo de garantizar la integridad f\u00edsica de estudiantes, maestros y personal del plantel. Esto tras denuncias sobre motocicletas y pasolas que circulaban peligrosamente sobre la acera.<\/p>\n

Julio C\u00e9sar Lantigua Artiles, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres, Madres y Amigos de la Escuela (APMAE), junto con la direcci\u00f3n del centro educativo, agradecieron la r\u00e1pida y efectiva respuesta del alcalde Roquelito Garc\u00eda y su equipo de tr\u00e1nsito, calificando la acci\u00f3n como un alivio para la comunidad escolar.<\/p>\n

Con esta medida, la Alcald\u00eda de Puerto Plata fortalece su compromiso con la seguridad vial, la protecci\u00f3n de los entornos escolares y el bienestar general de la poblaci\u00f3n estudiantil del municipio.<\/p>\n

Puerto Plata.\u2013 Responding to a request from the educational community, the mayor of San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Diomedes Roque Garc\u00eda (Roquelito), ordered the installation of pedestrian-style safety barriers along the sidewalk in front of Luisa Ortea School (Hija de la Caridad), located on Luis Ginebra Avenue.<\/p>\n

The project was carried out by the City Hall\u2019s Transit Department, led by An\u00edbal Polanco, with the goal of protecting students, teachers, and staff from danger, after reports surfaced about motorcycles and scooters traveling recklessly on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n

Julio C\u00e9sar Lantigua Artiles, president of the School\u2019s Parents, Friends and Teachers Association (APMAE), along with the school\u2019s management, expressed their gratitude to Mayor Roquelito Garc\u00eda and the municipal traffic team for their swift and effective response to this critical need.<\/p>\n

With this action, the Puerto Plata City Hall reaffirms its commitment to road safety, the protection of school environments, and the well-being of the educational community.<\/p>\n
