Santo Domingo, R.D.\u2013 La Procuradur\u00eda General de la Rep\u00fablica (PGR), a trav\u00e9s de la Procuradur\u00eda Especializada de<\/p>\n

Persecuci\u00f3n de la Corrupci\u00f3n Administrativa (Pepca), desarroll\u00f3 la segunda fase del Taller sobre T\u00e9cnicas de Investigaci\u00f3n y Enjuiciamiento de Casos de Corrupci\u00f3n, en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Plataforma Regional de Naciones Unidas para la Implementaci\u00f3n de la Convenci\u00f3n contra la Corrupci\u00f3n (Uncac).<\/p>\n

Este proceso de formaci\u00f3n, sustentado en una metodolog\u00eda pr\u00e1ctica, tiene como prop\u00f3sito desarrollar nuevas competencias en fiscales e investigadores, fomentar el intercambio de buenas pr\u00e1cticas y fortalecer las herramientas utilizadas en el procesamiento de casos de corrupci\u00f3n. La capacitaci\u00f3n estuvo encabezada por la procuradora de corte Mirna Ortiz, coordinadora de Pepca.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con la instituci\u00f3n, esta jornada se enmarca en el programa de capacitaci\u00f3n permanente implementado en el Ministerio P\u00fablico, siguiendo las directrices de la procuradora Yeni Berenice Reynoso. Dicho programa busca mantener actualizadas las t\u00e9cnicas especiales de investigaci\u00f3n frente a delitos de corrupci\u00f3n y crimen organizado.<\/p>\n

Las autoridades informaron adem\u00e1s que ya se trabaja en la fase tres del programa, con el objetivo de seguir perfeccionando los conocimientos adquiridos y garantizar mayores resultados en la persecuci\u00f3n de los casos de corrupci\u00f3n administrativa en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Santo Domingo, D.R.\u2013 The Attorney General\u2019s Office (PGR), through the Specialized Prosecutor\u2019s Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca), carried out the second phase of the Workshop on Investigation and Prosecution of Corruption Cases, in coordination with the United Nations Regional Platform for the Implementation of the Convention Against Corruption (Uncac).<\/span><\/p>\n

This training, based on a practical methodology, aims to develop new competencies in prosecutors and investigators, promote the exchange of best practices, and strengthen the tools used in the prosecution of corruption cases. The workshop was led by Court Prosecutor Mirna Ortiz, coordinator of Pepca.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the institution, the initiative is part of the continuous training program implemented by the Public Ministry under the guidelines of Prosecutor Yeni Berenice Reynoso. The program seeks to ensure that prosecutors remain updated in the use of special investigative techniques to combat corruption and organized crime.<\/span><\/p>\n

Authorities also announced that phase three of the program is already in development, with the goal of further strengthening the knowledge acquired and ensuring greater effectiveness in the prosecution of administrative corruption cases in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n
