En Mao, Valverde, R.D.– La Regional de Educación llevó a cabo el acto de Reconocimiento Regional al Mérito Magisterial 2024-2025, correspondiente al área de orientación y psicología, con el objetivo de exaltar la entrega, vocación y compromiso de profesionales que han impactado positivamente la vida estudiantil, incluyendo a profesionales de Villa los Almácigos.
Durante la emotiva jornada, el Distrito Educativo 09-06 tuvo el honor de presentar a las educadoras seleccionadas por sus méritos y trayectoria, quienes recibieron un reconocimiento público por su labor en favor del desarrollo emocional, social y académico de los estudiantes.
Las docentes Digna Peña y Margarita María Puello Flores fueron distinguidas por su destacado desempeño en el área de orientación y psicología, convirtiéndose en referentes del trabajo humano, ético y transformador que se impulsa desde los centros educativos.
El evento constituyó una jornada de gratitud y celebración, resaltando la importancia del acompañamiento psicológico y emocional en el proceso formativo del sistema educativo dominicano.

Valverde, D.R.– The Regional Office of Education held the 2024–2025 Regional Merit Recognition Ceremony for professionals in the field of guidance and psychology, aiming to honor their dedication, vocation, and unwavering commitment to student development.
During the event, District 09-06 proudly introduced the educators who were selected based on their outstanding contributions and service, receiving public recognition for their impact on students’ emotional, social, and academic growth.
